ihtc > Leanne and her 3 sons 4-28-08 SF Zoo Tiger Cubs Emerging Outdoors Over the past few weeks, Leanne, the mother of our three new Sumatran tiger cubs, has been taking them, one at a time, out of the nesting area and into the outdoor exhibit to explore the great outdoors. Lucky guests who happened to be at the exhibit when the tigers chose to come out received a real treat. Leanne's mothering skills are a joy to observe as she keeps a watchful eye on them, cleans and cuddles with them, gives them space but reins them in when they wander too far, and shows tender patience. Recently, the cubs have grown big enough to step outside on their own, without being carried out by mom. Your chances to see all three cubs romping in the grass are getting greater day by day, so come by to enjoy their excursions! Hi May, I'm the new PR Manger at the SF Zoo and Amy Frankel passed along the photos you took yesterday of the Tiger cubs. They are beautiful! We'd love to see if you'd be open to us using some of the photos for PR purposes. Ideally, we could share them with the local media and allow them to use them in their publications (i.e. San Jose Mercury News, The Chronicle, etc), should they desire to do so. We would of course have them credit you for the photos. Let me know if this would be okay. If not, no worries. Thanks again for sending them along.
